Each year, 40,000 American men have their prostates surgically
removed or burned with radiation, often within 48 hours of cancer
diagnosis. The standard treatment choices -- surgery, radiation, and
hormonal therapy -- are of limited effectiveness and have major side
effects that usually seriously erode a man's quality of life. Impotence
and incontinence occur is about 80% of cases and often the cancer
recurs -- 35% require retreatment within five years and 75% within
10 years.
Breakthrough Book Offers Men New Options
for the Prevention and Treatment of Prostate Problems
"Prostate illness is neither inevitable nor incurable,"
says Dr. Larry Clapp. "We've all been led to believe that benign
prostate enlargement and cancer are a normal part of aging, like wrinkles
and grey hair, and that we should expect these things to happen. But
it's not necessary. Prostate illness -- including cancer -- can not
only be avoided, it can be cured."
In his book, Prostate Health in 90 Days, Dr. Clapp will teach
you how to:
- STOP PROSTATE TROUBLE IN ITS TRACKS using nutrition, massage,
herbs, homeopathy and other alternative healing approaches.
- UNDERSTAND WHAT CAUSES CANCER, including toxins from your diet,
drugs, the environment, pesticides and parasites -- all relatively
easy to change.
- REVERSE THE CANCER-CAUSING EFFECTS of dental toxins from hidden
infections, root canals and the 50% mercury content in silver-amalgam
fillings.
- CLEANSE AND STRENGTHEN VITAL ORGANS, including your colon and
prostate.
- ENHANCE YOUR SEX LIFE and become physically and mentally stronger.
- VIRTUALLY ELIMINATE YOUR CHANCE FOR DISEASE by balancing your
pH.
Dr. Clapp himself was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 1990. Given
the limited treatment options of surgery and radiation, he began an
intensive research effort that led him to discover a wealth of alternatives,
which he successfully used to heal himself. He is now cancer-free.
According to Dr. Clapp, the all-too-common practice of surgically
removing the prostate is the equivalent of the unnecessary reproductive
surgeries often performed on women, such as cesarean births and hysterectomies.
"Men are now where women were 20 years ago in terms of taking
charge of their own reproductive health," Clapp states. "American
men, in the same way that American women have, need to become more
educated about their bodies, and to do their own research to find
out about the wide variety of health-promoting healing approaches
available to them."
Clapp explains that men can avoid prostate problems by first understanding
what causes cancer. "Cancer, especially in the reproductive organs,
is primarily caused by toxins from the environment, diet and parasites,
and these are easy to change. What many people don't know is that
cancer is also caused by a kind of mercury poisoning resulting from
the silver-amalgam dental fillings we have in our teeth. We all remember
the news in the 1970s about how the mercury content in fish could
cause cancer. Environmental laws were passed to curb that; ut we have
silver fillings in our teeth that are 50% mercury!"
The foundation of Dr. Clapp's program is the Nobel Prizewinning work
of Otto Warburg, who won the coveted prize in 1931 for proving that
cancer cannot live in cells that are in pH balance. Because most of
us living in an unrban environment are very acidic, we are unwitting
hosts to prostate and other cancers.
Most of the book is devoted to explaining in detail how to prevent
or cure cancer by balancing the body's pH through clearing toxins
from the body, improving diet, exercising, and improving one's emotional
and sexual life. To monitor progress, Clapp introduces the Biological
Terrain Assessment (BTA), a European test which is beginning to gain
popularity in the U.S. The BTA measures pH, reduction oxidation, and
the resistivity of the blood, saliva and urine. These nine measures
provide an extended view of the body's condition, and reveal and accurately
monitor the healing of levels of dysfunction that traditional tests
don't encompass.
"The prostate is the vital center from which men derive their
vitality, creative energy and sexual drive. Without it, quality of
life, overall health and sex drive is severely diminished, That's
why it's important to start taking care of it now, before trouble
begins," Clapp says. "This can be done by making lifestyle
changes that include a better diet, building health with exercise
and bodywork, releasing pent-up emotions, developing an awareness
of the toxins around us, enhancing our sex lives and many other preventative
measures."
"This book is a must-read for anyone who has cancer
of the prostate or wishes to maintain optimal prostate health.
It provides the reader with a road map for the latest cutting-edge
technologies in medicine. Dr. Clapp is to be commended for
having the courage to seek out 2lst century medicine, and
to make it available to all of us."
